Are you a manager of an organization where alcohol is served or sold? Then you are expected to do everything you can to protect the health of your guests and employees. According to the new Alcohol Act that has been in force since 1 June 2022, this means that you are registered in 'the Register of Social Hygiene'. You can apply for registration after you have successfully completed the 'Sociale Hygiene' (social responsibility) course and have received a certified diploma.
The new Register of Social Hygiene
Since July 1st, 2023, the Register of Social Hygiene will be managed by the Lcsh (Landelijke commissie sociale hygiëne). From that moment on, anyone with a (foreign) diploma in 'Social Hygiene' can apply for registration here. Existing registrations can also be found via this website.
Request a new registration
If you obtained your Social Hygiene diploma or certificate after 1 July 2023, you can register in the new Social Hygiene Register.
This is subject to a cost of €92,- for Lcsh recognised diplomas. Registering with a foreign diploma (which is obtained in a country other than the Netherlands) or foreign work experience costs €250,-.
- If you do have DigiD, you can go through the registration process online. Please note, the application is in Dutch.
- If you do not have a DigiD or cannot speak Dutch, please use the application form in English.
See the supporting documents for a list of Lcsh recognised diplomas and an overview of the requirements that foreign work experience must meet.
Reconfirm your existing registration
If you were already registered in the (SVH) register before the 1st of July 2023, we will ask you to check your registration data once in this new (Lcsh) environment.
- If you do have DigiD, you can go through the process online. Please note, the application is in Dutch.
- If you do not have a DigiD or cannot speak Dutch, please use the application form in English.
Unsubscribe from the register
If you no longer want to be included in the register, you can unsubscribe from the old SVH register. You can then no longer be found in the register.
